No. of HK Visitors to JP Slips by 8.6% YoY in Nov, Becoming Only Region w/ Visitor Loss

The number of visitors to Japan in November was 3.518 million, up 10.4% YoY, according to data from the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).

Due to deteriorating Sino-Japanese relations, the number of Chinese visitors to Japan was 562,600, a slight YoY increase of 3%, significantly narrowing from October's 22.8% growth. Hong Kong visitors to Japan decreased by 8.6% YoY to 207,600.

In 11M25, Chinese visitors to Japan amounted to 8.7658 million, up 37.5% YoY, making China the largest and fastest-growing source of visitors. Hong Kong visitors to Japan decreased by 7.2% YoY to 2.2262 million, making it the only region with a loss of visitors.
