Alphabet (GOOGL.US)'s autonomous driving unit, Waymo, is in discussions with potential investors to raise funds at a valuation of at least US$100 billion, with the financing scale possibly exceeding US$10 billion and expected to be arranged early next year, The Information quoted sources as saying. Bloomberg also reported that Waymo is seeking to raise over US$15 billion at a valuation close to US$100 billion, led by its parent company Alphabet.
