Goldman Sachs: Hedge Fund Trading Vol. in Asia Hits 5-Yr High; JP, HK Stocks Bought Last Wk

According to a report issued by Goldman Sachs, global hedge funds saw last week the largest increase in trading volume in the Asian market in five years. During the period from June 6 to 12, long positions in Asia surpassed short positions, reaching a new high since last September.

The report also mentioned that hedge funds bought stocks in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and India last week, but shorted Chinese stocks.
