Total ~70K Applications Received for US 'Golden Visa' Scheme: Wire

Nearly 70,000 people have signed up for the new 'golden Trump Card', according to the Financial Times. This visa scheme, led by US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, will grant foreigners legal residency in the US for a price of US$5 million.

On Monday morning (16th) local time, Lutnick said that internal data from his department showed a waiting list of 67,697 people. Within an hour, the number quickly hiked to 68,703.
