Chinese network regulators have instructed the largest tech companies in China to stop purchasing all Nvidia (NVDA.US)'s AI chips and terminate existing orders, the Financial Times quoted three insiders as saying. Nvidia last shed 1.1% to US$173.02 in the pre-market sessions.

This week, regulatory authorities notified companies such as ByteDance and BABA-W (09988.HK) to cease testing and orders for the RTX Pro 6000D, according to the report.
