JD-SW (09618.HK) disclosed at an investor conference that it has no intention to compete for food delivery market share at all costs, meaning that short-term actions by its competitors won't disturb its pace, and that its fundamental goal is to achieve synergies with the traditional e-commerce business, facilitate cross-sell on its e-commerce platform through delivery services, and enhance user engagement, according to JPMorgan's research report.

Management emphasized that JD-SW will focus on healthy growth in the order volume and user base, along with UE improvements. It also revealed that 40% of the new users acquired through the delivery service in March became e-commerce users by July.
