The HSI ended the day down 8 points at 26,438. The HSCEI rose 1 point to close at 9,386. The HSTECH climbed 34 points or 0.6%, closing at 6,077. The total market turnover for the day amounted to HKD294.007 billion. In the pharma and healthcare sector, BRAINAURORA-B (06681.HK) and BAYZED HEALTH (02609.HK) surged 16.5% and 28%, with turnovers of HKD5.81 billion and HKD6.18 billion, respectively. TRANSTHERA-B (02617.HK) was once hyped up by HKD63.73 to a peak of HKD679.5, but it eventually finished the day down 53.7% at HKD192, with a turnover of over HKD4.54 billion. All three were recently included in the Southbound Stock Connect. In addition, TYK MEDICINES-B (02410.HK) was speculated up 25.9%, with a turnover of over HKD3.05 billion. PHARMARON (03759.HK) spiked 9.3%. Contrarily, CSPC PHARMA (01093.HK), CANSINOBIO (06185.HK), and SINO BIOPHARM (01177.HK) fell over 2%. INNOCARE (09969.HK) even slid 3.7%. Among tech stocks, TENCENT (00700.HK) edged 0.2% higher to HKD645. BABA-W (09988.HK) dipped 0.7% to HKD153.5. MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) gained 3%. BILIBILI-W (09626.HK), NTES-S (09999.HK), and BIDU-SW (09888.HK) added 0.8-1.6%. XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) gained 0.4%. KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) and JD-SW (09618.HK) slipped 0.6% and 1.3%. SMIC (00981.HK) inclined 0.3%. ALI HEALTH (00241.HK), MEITU (01357.HK), and XD INC (02400.HK) sank 3.8-4.2%. KINGSOFT CLOUD (03896.HK), PA GOODDOCTOR (01833.HK), and JD HEALTH (06618.HK) plummeted 5.4-5.8%. Robotics stock UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880.HK) ballooned 5%, with a turnover of HKD2.3 billion.
